The exhibition title was Close Encounters, the brief - members from different disciplines working in collaboration with each other. This was for The Makers Guild in Wales Christmas exhibition at Craft in the Bay 2000. After thinking about the exhibition I decided to ask Jan Beeny, a ceramic sculptor, if we could work together. I was inspired by the piece of work at Continuum titled Study in Blue by Margaret Tattersfield, her ceramic tiles with cut outs were warped up and woven, and the tiles were textured with pieces of weaving and yarns.
