摘要

Geometrical parameters (L/D, L and D values) are experimentally determined for a specially designed filtered-neutron beam (IR beam) implemented to HANARO in KAERI using a high precision L/D device. In spite of L agrees with the designed value, appreciable differences of D and then L/D were observed between designed and experimental value. Discussions are made for the source of discrepancies taken into considering a beam pass deflection due to scattering effect in the filter system as well as the design of the IR beam collimator system.
