摘要

Numerical analysis of the deformation behavior of filament wound composite cylindrical shell with elliptic cover subjected to internal pressure is presented in this paper. Thickness of elliptic cover is a function of position. In the case of a given winding angle and a given law of thickness variation of elliptic cover, effects of boundary conditions at the opening of elliptic cover on the deformation behavior of composite shell are investigated. Three dimension shell element and the well-known ANSYS finite element code are used.
