摘要

An AlN ceramic with very high thermal conductivity at room temperature of 272 Wm~(-1)K~(-1), which is slightly lower than value of a high purity single crystal, was obtained by sintering at 2173 K for 100 h under reduced N_2 atmosphere. The temperature dependence (4 to 1000 K) of conductivity of the ceramic was investigated, and was discussed in combination with calculated phonon mean free path.
