摘要

The effects of rare earth on the properties of Fe-based diamond composites were studied in this paper. Specimens, which contain rare earth additives, show finer grain sizes and less segregation of carbides. As a result, Fe-based diamond composites with rare earth additives have higher transverse rupture strength and impact strength. Wear resistance of sawblade segments has been increased greatly by using rare earth additives.
