摘要

The phase separation and the mechanical behavior of polyphenylene-ether (poly(oxy-2,6- dimethyl-1,4-phenylene), PPE), polystyrene(PS) and acrylonitrile/styrene random copolymer(AS) was studied comparing to PPE/PS miscible and PPE/AS immiscible alloys. A very rapid decrease of SSP(short shot pressure) at 8-10/100 AN in AS copolymer blended was observed and it was related to The miscibility change of PPE or PS to AS. Mechanical strength such as flexual modulus did not Decrease for PS/PPE/AS alloy although it decreased sharply at 6-8/100 AN for PPE/AS alloy.
