摘要

Bumpers made of compound materials represent the majority of those assembled on commercial trucks. Knowledge of their behaviour under static loading and the possibility of their numerical modelling are critical tasks at the design stage. Particular difficulties involve of characterising or predicting material properties (homogeneity and isotropy) before the actual technological process execution. So simplified approaches are necessary in practical design process to achieve a useful evaluation of the whole component behaviour.
