摘要

By use of a microscopic fracture model, the study of computational estimation of tensile strength of lightweight concrete was made. A macroscopic breakage of the lightweight concrete was supposed to occur when a concrete matrix crack extended unstably, which is generated from the breakage of a lightweight aggregate or the debond of the interface between the lightweight aggregate and the mortar matrix. In order to evaluate the stability of the extension of the matrix crack, the stress intensity factor was adopted.
