摘要

A series of test are performed for 316L stainless steel under multiaxial non-proportional low cycle fatigue (LCF). The microstructures in the process of non-proportional LCF are also observed with transmission electron microscopy (FEM). The results of the test indicate that 316L stainless steel obviously exhibits additional hardening duo to non-proportional cyclic loading,. The reason is mainly the rotation of maximum shear stress plane during the LCF under non-proportional cyclic loading.
