摘要

Domain polarization switch near the tip of a flaw plays an important role for fractures and fatigue in ferroelectrics under electric and mechanical loading. The present paper adopts small scale switching model with domain switch based on combined electric and mechanical work increment. The model is capable to explain: electric fracture, fracture toughness anisotropy. Fracture toughness variation under combined electric and mechanical loading, and electric fatigue.
