one investigated the possibility to obtain a thermal-shock-resistant material in the ZrO_2-P_2O_5 system. A zirconium oxychloride salt and phosphoric acid were used as precursor. These were mixed in three Given ratio. The resulted compounds were then dried and sintered at different temperatures. The Samples as obtained were characterised by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy methods. One could evaluate the correlation between crystalline zirconyl-phosphates compounds obtained and the Processing conditions.
