摘要

Artificial bone materials are required to form bonelike apatite on their surfaces in the body environment to bond them to living bone. Novel calcium phosphate -polylactide composites were prepared and their bioactivity was evaluated by examining apatite formation on their surfaces in simulated body fluid (SBF). The composites formed bonelike apatite crystals on their surfaces in SBF within 1 week. This result indicates that the composites can bond to living bone in the body.
