A model study of electromagnetic casting of steel with high-frequency magnetic fields was carried out using molen tin. The frequency effect of magnetic fields on the meniscus stability of molten tin and the dividing effect of slit mold formation on the uniformity of the distribution of magnetic fields were examined. Continuous casting experiments for steel using Electomagnetic mold based on the model research were Put into practice.
