摘要

A new type of low-NO_x burner was studied for application to a regenerative burner system in an industrial furnace. The fuel is separately injected at an angle to the axis of the air stream. As a result, mixing of fuel and air is suppressed at the initial stage of combustion, and combustion progresses slowly and steadily. Consequently, very uniform combustion is obtained, self-recirculation of the flue gas is achieved, and emissions of NO_x are considerably reduced, along with a decrease in the quantity of soot produced.
