摘要

The cause of porosity generation and how it is influ- enced by welding parameters and the composition of metal-cored wire were investigated in high-speed horizontal fillet CO_2 welding using two electrodes-of steel plate coated with inorganic zinc primer. As a result of this investigation, a new welding method which achieves excellent resistance to porosity generation has been developed for high-speed horizontal fillet CO_2 welding (about 150 cm/min at 5 leg length) of steel plate coated with inorganic zinc primer.
