Two new species, Dirocephalus amazonicus and Quadricephalus brevicornis (Coleoptera: Slaphy-linidae: Osoriinae), are described. These are the first records of the Dirocephalus complex of genera from the Central Amazon hasin and the second species of the genus Qiiaclricephalus Irmler, 2005.
