This forecast is being driven by the U.S. DoD's desire to enhance its intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities 3. In FY17, expect the Multifunction Optical Sensing subproject to complete the development of the second-generation prototype system and integrate onto an airborne platform.
