摘要

In recent years, wind plants have undergone major changes due to new technologies developed for Smart Grids (SG).To accomplish this, the new wind turbines should be able to communicate and share data and measurements. In this context, this study proposes the use of a robust wireless communication system to the control of a Squirrel Cage Induction Generator (SCIG) connected to the grid. The wireless communication system is used to send power reference signals for SCIG controller with reliability to ensure the quality of power supplied by the wind turbine. System performance is evaluated through various tests and simulations.
