摘要

Julie LaChance looked around and knew that her students needed more. The high school in North Carolina where LaChance worked wasn't exactly known for technology use in the classroom. It was 44 years old and had almost no modern equipment.rnLaChance took it upon herself to change all that. Her vision and drive resulted in a school environment where students learn via interactive whiteboards, participate in a new podcasting curriculum, and create animations in a state-of-the-art "iLab." Because of those accomplishments, LaChance's principal recommended her for ISTE's inaugural Outstanding Young Educator Award, and she won.
