Before I start with the June Limeblast, please allow me to reflect on recent developments in other industries. French TV, Human Rights Watch and also Limeblast have taken a shot at the Bangladesh leather industry, exposing rather dire situations in terms of human rights and the environment in Hazaribagh. Unfortunately, the bad practices are not confined to the leather industry in Bangladesh. On April 24 a textile factory collapsed in the Savar industrial area and at least 1,127 workers lost their lives. After the disaster it was "discovered" that workers in the textile industry are seriously abused and are forced to work in very challenging circumstances.
