Our recommended procedure is to always use a restrictor fitting when one is called for. Don't skip it because you cannot locate one anywhere. One often finds aircraft parts seem to be made of "unob-tainum" when it comes to all the bits and pieces, but you must persevere.rnAs a last ditch effort to not operate without a restrictor fitting, making one is not terribly difficult. As an owner you can do that, even on a certified aircraft. It's called an owner produced part.
