While visiting a local FBO recently I struck up a conversation with a student pilot regarding the cost of owning an aircraft. We discussed what an aircraft owner can do to reduce aircraft maintenance expenses.rnI started pointing out areas of an aircraft that need to be maintained or serviced on a regular basis. Although many aircraft owners do a good job of maintaining their aircraft, some owners and new pilots may need some pointers. As an aircraft owner you can do a lot to reduce your aircraft maintenance costs even with a minimum use of tools.
