I enjoy Light Plane Maintenance, and I am also an A&P student and home-builder. Would the staff or you have any recommendation for reference books to add to my library for aircraft maintenance?I recommend AC 43.13-1B since it provides the basics of acceptable methods for aircraft maintenance. Homebuild-ers should certainly consider these standards as important as for certified aircraft. Also, the old AC 43.13-2A has been superseded with 2B, Aircraft Alterations. (See Field Notes for details.) These ACs are free downloads from the FA A Web site.
