If you own an airplane and don't have a way to access the Internet, you are at a disadvantage-sad but true. If only from a parts price, research and availability standpoint, trying to locate everything with a phone is both time consuming as well as incomplete and costly. The periodicals are only a small sample and behind the Net. Between work and friends, we recommend that you find a way to get to the Net, at least when you need to find a part or research a topic like an AD. While there are CD/ DVDs available with tons of great information, these tend to be too costly for all but the professional mechanic, shop or hard-core owner/maintainer.
