摘要

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) has released the findings from its "Eskaton Circadian Lighting Project," conducted in 2016 to explore potential challenges and benefits of using tunable-white LED lighting in independent living facilities for seniors. The project included 13 Eskaton apartments, where lighting was evaluated in three phases: (1) original lighting system; (2) new lamps and fixtures with standard LED bulbs; and (3) new lamps and fixtures with Stack Lighting's tunable-white LED bulbs, which react to sunlight, occupancy and motion, and communicate via a wireless network.
