Covering approximately 4 million sq ft, Complexe Desjardins is the largest building in the metropolitan area of Montreal. Its three octagonal-shaped towers comprise a commercial gallery with 110 shops and restaurants, an immense public plaza, numerous governmental services, health services and three parking levels. In order to keep Complexe distinctive after roughly 25 years as a core aspect of Montreal life, the lighting design needed to mimic the architectural elements.
