Sylvania Lighting Services (SLS) has opened the Charlotte Lighting Application Showroom (CLAS) in Charlotte, NC. Open to facility managers and other end-users, the showroom displays a variety of lighting solutions and installation capabilities, with a particular emphasis on sustainable lighting. CLAS is an interactive space that offers demonstrations on everything from fluorescent and halogen lighting to metal halide and LED technology for a range of market segments. Demonstrations include refrigeration lighting installations, performed in an on-site LED refrigeration freezer/cooler test lab. The showroom also features real-life applications for LEDs and other technology including signage for indoor and outdoor applications, track lighting and dock lights.
