The new IES Seminar development program is progressing well, with two seminars-both Board approved-in the final stages of preparation for release soon (and soon to be listed in the IES publications catalog): 1. Planned Indoor Lighting Maintenance, SEM-1-09. Based on RP-36-03 and developed by Norma Frank, the seminar is equipped with an extensive PowerPoint instructional slide set on accompanying CD. 2. Codes and Standards, SEM-2-09, developed by Richard Heinisch, is also equipped with an extensive PowerPoint instructional slide set on CD. Student-participant and instructor-presenter packages for each seminar will be available shortly. Lighting Economics, SEM-3-09, developed by John Selander, is the next seminar scheduled for Board review very soon; other seminars are in preliminary stages of development.
