I had the opportunity to meet Professor Warren Julian, as his student when I took up the Lighting Design Science Illumination course during my time working as an Electrical Engineer in Sydney in 1980s. My journey commenced with him mentoring me as his student at University of Sydney and it has progressed into a longstanding friendship and collaboration in work, trainings, seminars and exhibitions around the region. I am indebted to Warren for his generosity, patience, kindness and knowledge in developing my interest in lighting design, as I am now a successful entrepreneur in this field.
