The 23,ooom2 fabric roof is the major visual feature of Skilled Park, during the day the fabric is a white beacon and at night it glows. The 4 × 54W T5 fluorescent luminaires, preferred light source rnmeeting the stringent budget restrictions, are mounted and concealed on the supporting structure at the base of the fabric at approximately seven meters above the concourse. The feature lighting only operating during night events, and very perceptible at night, is controlled for switching via a centralised lighting automation system.
