The editor and board invited Philip Stiles to write a tribute to our retiring editor, Bernard Taylor. Bernard founded this journal in 1976 and was its premier champion For 30 years. He grew the journal to world class, contributing to the academic Profession and the business community by disseminating important knowledge. He Also made many friends, and a few of them talk about his achievements here.
