People have different opinions as to whether or not it's smart to build a lowrider because either they're too big or they're nothing but gas guzzlers, Practically and financially speaking, it is of ten not the smartest option, and it will definitely consume your weekends and family time. Many guys who have built a classic custom before have gone on to build others, and yet there are those who thought they purchased the right car only to be discouraged by what was hidden below the paint and they quit the build-right there! But don't let this completely stop you from the thoughts of starting on a project! While there are many downsides of building a lowrider, like going through five different body shops until you find the right one, there are many legitimate reasons why it might make sense-f or you besides it being just a hobby. Lowriders are investments, but not in the way you may think. They build character and bring respect, but you have to sacrifice and dedicate yourself to it, and in return you become part owner of this worldwide culture.
