Jose Zendejas of Escondido, California, has always had a love for lowrider cars and Harley-Davidson bikes. In particular, when it comes to bikes, his favorites are the ones that sport the lowriding stance with that unmistakable Chicano style. Jose says he is not alone when he feels that lowriders and bikes go hand in hand, just like beer and barbecue. Last summer, Jose received a call from his friend Miguel Martinez, Jr. He told Jose about a deal he had come across on a 2006 Harley bagger. Jose said that he needed to hear no more - he picked up the bike that evening! The well-known custom bike builder, Marcos Mendieta, of Inland Empire (IE) Baggers, was soon contacted by Jose and his bike started to undergo the transformation. Over the next eight months, the bike came to life with the help of Sal Manzano and his custom paint talents. The Aztec gold color with multi-colored patterns popped like no other paintjob.
