Twenty-five years ago, Lisa Tocci, Nancy Demarco and Gloria Steinberg Briskin hunkered down in the new headquarters of their nascent publishing company. The surroundings in Gloria's basement were far from glamorous, but it turned out to be the perfect incubator for LNG Publishing Co. The first issue of Lubes'n'Greases was published in April 1995, and within just nine months, the business was profitable.
