1. Our favourite new feature is actually several features that aim to simplify working with and switching between devices. The goal of these features (which Apple calls Continuity) is to make switching from a Mac to an iPhone or iPad, or vice versa, as seamless as possible. Shared AirDrop: AirDrop, Apple's easy-to-use feature for getting files from one device to another, debuted for Macs in 2011 and for iOS last year. But the OS X and iOS versions weren't (and aren't) compatible. We hoped that Apple would fix this-and it has. AirDrop will work between Macs and iOS devices, so you can send a file from a Mac to an iPhone, or from your iPad to a Mac.
