Turn On Find My Mac You may have enabled the Find My Mac service when you signed up for a free iCIoud account . To find out, open the iCIoud preference pane in System Preferences. If you're already logged in to iCIoud, confirm that you've selected the Find My Mac checkbox; if you're not logged in (or don't have an iCIoud account), you can take the necessary steps from this screen.
