摘要

The percentage of use of manmade fibers is more than 50 per cent compared to natural fiber, and this use of manmade fibers is increasing day by day. While the use of synthetic fabric is increasing in textiles, the hydrophobic property decreases the degree of comfort in the fabrics produced from it. This paper explores the wicking properties of polyester filament yarns. The effect of filament yarn parameters viz. denier per filament, number of filaments in yarn and yarn texturizing on yarn wicking performance is studied.
