Fabric drape is the unique property that can be found in the textile material which allows a fabric to deform when it is allowed to hang under its own weight. Fabric drape is one of the most important properties of the flexible material. It provides the information about the deformation produced by the gravity when the part of the fabric is draped. For experimentation different gsm of the fabrics were used. Mainly categories as light weight, medium weight, and heavy weight. The Fabrics samples were procured according to the requirement for the upper garment. The study was made with the upper garment of plain and twill weaves with various fiber contents such as cotton, polyester, polyester-cotton blend.
