A year so soon! A quick flashback for India: top-ten news undoubtedly relate to Politics and Upheavals at State and Center. A bold decision by the common man in quest of "Acche Din". It's time for the elected politicos to take bold moves to deliver as per promised agenda. The icing on the cake was the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded (though jointly) to Dr. Kailash Satyarthi. Worldwide, the headlines have not been very pleasant save for the successful landing of Philae on Comet 67P. The headlines of Taliban gunmen storming a military-run school in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar and killing 126 people, mostly school going children, is very numbing. Even the best festive time of the year has been marred by Hostage news from Australia. The most worrying trend this year was the rise of ISIS, which marks a leap in the evolution of extremism.
