The tamarind kernel powder was used as thickening agent in printing paste on cotton fabric to evaluate its efficacy with reference to crease recovery, bending length and cost calculation. The study concludes that tamarind kernel powder gave good results of visual appeal and performance. The study results also revealed that as the concentration of tamarind kernel power increased the bending length, crease recovery angle also increased.
