It's known that when one thirties of India, one thinks of the accompanying psychedelic colours. We are known for not only our vibrant attire, but also for the colours of our seasons. Like summers which not only gives the country a tough time but also gives the red, yellow, purple and other blossoms clotting the streets which seem to be celebrating the season. Our cities become a riot of colours during summers. Several species of tall, flowering trees with delicate, short lived flowers like Jlame of the forest, the 'Bonfire tree, the Indian Coral tree (or Tangara) and Jacaranda dot the skyline. While the Gulmohar with its bright orange flowers is a common sight, other rarer blossoms also make special appearances during this season.
