Milkweed fiber (Mudar Fiber) is one of natural cellulosic seed hair fiber like Cotton. It is also a vegetable cellulosic fiber obtaining from natural Milkweed plant. The plant produces a silky needle like fiber with a relatively smooth surface and a maximum length of about 29mm.The Milkweed fiber from the seedpods (Natural plant) has been proved to be of good use in Textile Industry. The most promising commercial use for Milkweed floss is as a loose fill for jackets and comforters, it is also used in Nonwovens, and Industrial applications.
