摘要

1. Tenacity values of P.O.Y. increases with respect to increase in spinning speed. This is attributed to stress level in spinline, which mainly governs the orientation of molecules in the yarn structure. Elongation values of P.O.Y. decreases with increase in spinning speed. (Fig. 4) 2. The Uster value found to be in decreasing manner with respect to increase in spinning speed. This indicates improved stability in spinline caused by higher stress levels and increased orientation. 3. The Draw Force is found to be in increasing manner with respect to increasing speed, being relatively larger at higher speed, this may be due to increased orientation of polymer chains along the fiber axis.
