Charged with scanning the horizon of the Electricity Networks, the HSG (Horizon Scanning Group) needed to galvanise its target audience into designing a future of critical importance to not only the Energy Industry, but the entire population. And this in the face of an ageing infrastructure, shareholder interests, professional disengagement and European intervention. Furthermore, the HSG itself was struggling with its own direction and commitment, compounded by the very demanding day jobs of its volunteers within the energy sector.
