The Nautical Institute (NI) launched a new dynamic positioning (DP) training scheme and IT system on 2 January 2015. This incorporates the energy industry stakeholders' latest requirements for improvements to the training of DP operators. The NI's Alexis platform is a gateway that trainees and institutes can use to gain accreditation and certification.
