We have read the article "Monitoring of impact of anthropogenic inputs on water quality of mangrove ecosystem of Uran, Navi Mumbai, west coast of India", authored by Prabhakar R. Pawar published in Marine Pollution Bulletin (75(1-2); 2013) with great interest because marine water quality is one of our main areas of study. The paper was motivating, however, we comment on the following points.
