For the purposes of this report, the market has been broken down into three sectors: spectacles, contact lenses and sunglasses. Spectacles: further broken down into frames, lenses and ready-made. Contact lenses: comprises hard, soft and disposable lenses, and also incorporates data pertaining to aftercare products (solutions and related tablets). Sunglasses: includes corrective and non-corrective versions, in addition to clip-on products. Specifically excluded from the report are protective and industrial optical products.
