Thank you for your support during the first 18 months of my 2 years as President of the International Masonry Society. The use of Masonry as the primary construction material throughout the world is under threat from lightweight modular construction which fails to deliver the Performance, longevity, adaptability and resilience that only masonry offers. It is time for the Masonry industry to fight back! Built to last at least 150 years and manufactured locally using plentiful natural resources, creating mass upstream and downstream employment, the environmental, social and economic business case for Masonry is irrefutable.
