摘要

The Johannesberg Collegiate Church has been well-known for its high-quality, practical and topical training and consultancy on the preservation of historic buildings and monuments, and renewal of existing buildings, for the last thirty years. The 2015/2016 academic year offers a wide spectrum of professional education and mid-career training. Craftsmen, architects and engineers have the opportunity to acquire extra-occupational qualifications by completing the following application-oriented certificate courses: "Building restoration for craftsmen", "'Geselle' qualification (equivalent NVQ Level 2) in building restoration and the repair of ancient monuments" and "Preservation of historic buildings for architects/structural engineers". The curriculum is rounded off with the "Energy consultants for historic buildings" series and WTA seminars (WTA = scientific technical association for the preservation of historic buildings). In addition, the Johannesberg Collegiate Church organises interdisciplinary conferences as well as hands-on and specialist seminars in order to foster cooperation between the various disciplines.
