摘要

Bismuth sulfide nanorods with the diameter of 10―25 nm and the length of up to 100―300 nm were successfully synthesized from an acidic aqueous solution of bismuth nitrate and sodium sulfide at room temperature, in the presence of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The product was characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and selected electron diffraction (SED). Probable mechanism of the formation of bismuth sulfide is proposed.
